Has anyone noticed EOTechs new line of holosights? It appears they are single CR123 battery models, at least half the size of their previous models and advertising 500-600 hours of operation on a single battery and offering several dot variations.

Actually according to their specs the XPS is:
.25" shorter in length
.6" wider
.15" taller than their 511 N-cell series
Weighs the same.
But it has 3X the battery life on one CR123 at 600 hrs vs. 200 hrs for the N-cell.

My lights use CR123 batteries, I have alot of them :scrutiny:

It's even available without the 65moa circle and just the dot.
I just don't get the XPS2-2 with "two 1moa dots"

The two 1 moa dots would probably be for different ranges. You zero your rifle with the top dot, and the bottom will be for a longer range.

That would make sense.

Just get the 512 which takes AA's and call it a day. Don't care where you are in the world, if they have batteries in stock they will have AA's. The new reticle options do intrigue me though.
