Can anyone help me out with some ideas on removing the plastic buttplate from an HK 91 stock without damaging the stock or the buttplate? It is just held in with spring clips around the stock pins but the are very strong and I don't really want to gouge the plastic up trying to pry it loose. Any help would be greatly appieciated. Thanks for the info, I was starting to feel like a dummy trying to figure out how to remove the buttplate from the stock without destroying it.
