Brandishing

I live in a state (Georgia) that has no laws against brandishing, per se. Georgia does have a statute that prohibits pointing a firearm at another whether loaded or unloaded without legal justification. As an aside, Georgia's disorderly conduct statute is vague and, shall we say, liberally interpreted by the police.

But from what I've read in various posts by people who do live in states with brandishing statutes; it seems to be very easy to be charged with brandishing in situations where you should have been alarmed enough to legally draw your guns. At least it should be legal.

Those of you who live in such states with grass roots RKBA organizations should be working on getting the brandishing statute repealed or greatly modified.
