try the 168 hpbt Sierra matchkings, or similar design, suposed to be good at long range i think, maybe something heavier for long range like that?

Go with the 175gr Sierra MatchKing and Varget, RL-15 of IMR 4064.
The 168gr SMK doesnt have the BC you need to go out that far.

blc(2) will give the highest velocity and varget is a close second, with RL-15 about 80 fps below them. some reason the 168 MV is significantly lower than the 165's MV
i dunno the load data for 175's though, what is the minimum velocity and BC needed to get 168's/175's to 1000yd before you go transonic?

from what i have read on the internet the 11.25 twist on that rifle likes the 175gr. but 1858rem brings out a good question. what kind of mv do you need for that 175 to go that distance.

FGMM 175 SMK should be in the neighborhood of 2600ish.
I think youll need something 0.5+ and at least 2500 with a 175gr bullet to remain supersonic at 1000 yards. Play around with JMB Online (google it) to give you an idea of what you need.

Sorry buy you have to do the leg work, and if you want accuracy you will need to set down at the range with some test loads and work it out.
Suggestions
Cases: WW or Lapua
Powder: IMR 4064 or 4895, N140 or 540, RL15, Varget, TAC
Primers: IMR powder with WLR, VV with Fed 210M, same for RL15, and BR2 with Varget and TAC.
Bullets 175 SMK or the new 175 CC from Nosler loaded at mag length.
Moving into VLD types from you need to measure your chamber with the bullets and then work on shooting them about 0.020" off the lands.
