Why are my thread titles being forced into lowercase?

ETA - to be more specific, if I take the 'TX' string in the title of this thread (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=424933)and make it uppercase, the whole title gets forced lowercase. If I leave the 'TX' in lowercase, I can make the rest of the title uppercase. Weird, huh?

I have tested this with IE 7 on WinDoze XP and Firefox/Safari on Mac OS/X 10.4.11.

That's what you might call collateral damage from the "shouting filter". There is a vbulletin option to prevent all-caps shouting in posts and thread titles. If at least one character in the title is not uppercase, then the filter doesn't come into play.
