Cleaning out my 'gun junk' box recently I came across what looks to me like a S&W magazine. It is a stainless double-stack hi-cap mag with 5 witness holes, a round count of 12 at the last hole, the letter 'S' stamped on the lower rigtht side and a black finger extension base. It holds 9mmP rounds. Does anyone know what gun this fits and how much it's worth? Thanks.

That looks like a magazine for the S&W 69-series compacts.

It'll fit the models 469, 669, 6904, 6906, 6909, 6924, 6926, 6944, and 6946. Current value of a preban mag like that is $30-50, depending on your locale.

The mag will also work in a Kel-Tec P-11... (And you can get a small plastic spacer from Kel-Tec so that it looks good and extends the grip.)
