I have got a 308 Browning Bar I and are working up a new load, but have found ejector marks on all my cases.
Is this to high case loading, I am mid way in powder charges as per the tables. The powder load is 45.5gr of adi 2206 with sierra 150gr bullet.
It would great to get some feed back. Cheers.

I don't have any experience with the civilian BAR, but extractor, ejector or other marks on the base of cartridge cases is nothing unusual. The M1 and M14-type rifles are famous for leaving dents in the edge of the rim.
Such can be an indicator of higher than normal pressures. If the metal of the case head is flowing into the hole or slot for an ejector, this is an indicator of a real problem.

If you ejector is the same type as Rem700, this can be one of the signs of pressure starting. The case on the right is the lowest powder charge. The case on the left that blew the primer, is the highest powder charge, if i remember correctly. Not My Photo. The brass flows into the hole where the plunger sits. Also look for a primer that has no round edges where the primer meets the brass. http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n420/joe1944usa/EjectorMark_01.jpg

ADI 2206 is IMR 3031...right???
If so...you're about 1-1.5 grains too hot with the load...back them down to 44 to 44.5 grains.

Looks like you might be getting close to max.

Bullet Type: 155 grain jacketed projectile
Charge Weight: 44.5 grains
Velocity: 2825 ft/sec
Pressure: 60,129 psi
I would consider 44.5 gr of ADI AR2006 in a 308win. a maximum charge. But i would never load that hot. Less is better.
