Todd,
I HATE YOU! You cause both envy and lust which then triggers covetousness and hatred.
I'll say it again, mighty purty work.

They look nice, but you need to show some of your wood handles. I browsed your site galleries and decided that I'll hvae to be ordering a burl knife from you one of these days.

Fine Stainless Steel should rest on every hunter's hip. CM154 is the best of American-Made Steel to date. Will something ever come along to supplant my current steely sidekick? cliffy

I am not a slippie sort - my favorite slippie being an old Buck 301 I've had for ever. I've never even owned a Case. I can't help wondering why now, after seeing your work. You are a craftsman - your knives are works of art. At sixty, I thought I was safe... stuck in my ways. Wow, what nice work... you may have made me a convert! Thanks a lot! Seriously, great work - you should be proud.

cliffy,
There are several CPMs that best CM154 for knife blade steel these days, but the differences may not be significant enough to matter to you.

T.A.DAVISON , Is file work ok to discuss on the How To level? I just tripped over your thread with the guns.
I used to do some file work too, and plan to again, but not on guns, but I did that too, just not so well as you demonstrated. All flinters though.
Saw that "" and I don't want to go there if you don't. I am not wanting you do do any either, just talk about it if yer willin'.
Maybe one ol dawg can still teach another ol dawg a trick, that would be you teaching me pretty much, I sure can't teach you nuthin', but i wish i could.
if not, don't get mad just say 'NO'..

Who does the photos?
Bigal does all my photos, with an old 2 pixel camera......:rolleyes::)
He is disabled, and doesn't get around well. He's had health problems for a very long time.
And on top of all that, his twenty year old son was paralyzed last year.
So - I help him out were I can, he is a great friend.
I tell him all the time his photos are par none.
Thanks!
Todd
PS
I show him these replies all the time. - :)
Very much appreciated.

You might want to let other knife makers know about him since his work is of a professional quality. Makers are always looking for a good cheap photography.
