I have received a Marlin Model 49 exposed hammer pump shotgun after the passing of my dad. He acquired it from another deceased relative. I cannot find much information on his piece as to history and dates of manufacture. About the only info I have is it was produced as a give away for Marlin stockholders. Does anyone have any detailed history on this firearm?
