This a great little rifle. First time shooting, had a group in about 5 in. With iron sights, about 3:30 outside off bulls eye. The trigger is hard to pull. That might account for the 3:30 group. I'm glad I bought it. The wife likes it better then the XD.

I have the carbine in 9mm. You're right-it is a terrific, fun gun to shoot. My trigger lightened up significantly after about 100-125 rounds. After your trigger gets better, put a red dot on there and you'll be amazed at how accurate it will be.
BTW, my shootin' pard, who also has one, called Hi-Point a couple of weeks ago; they expect to have the .45 version out by Summer. He told them he'd been hearing that for a couple of years now, but they said this was a realistic time frame.

I had one and though I liked it, I traded in in towards a pistol. It was an awesome little gun. Can't say much for their pistols, but hey for the price the carbines are decent. There is a company that produces upgrade stocks for them and they resemble the Beretta Carbines in a way. Tell you though if they make a 45. cal I might have to get me another.

I put the ATI stock on my 995 and I'm very happy with the transplant. Those stocks are not made for the 4095, and to fit they apparently require some serious "Dremel Surgery".
