Winchester 785 Powder

I inherited a lot of 785 powder. What is this good for? I know it is slow and for larger calibers. What about the 45-70, 45lc, .458win, 7.62. thanks for your help. I am just getting started in reloading and don't find too much info on this powder.

Rethink heavy duty magnums not stuff like your are listing...7mm Mag 30 Cal Mags 338 Mags

It does OK in the 257 Robts too,especially with 115-120gr bullets. Its in the same class as H4831 & R22.
