I just dug out some old powders and wondered which, if any would work in the calibers I reload. The powders are IMR 4198, Hodgdon 4831, Hodgdon 4895 and Hercules 11. I reload for .308 and 22-250, with a range of different grains of bullets. Will any of the powders work for these calibers?

You will probably be best served by checking your reloading manuals. They should have the information you need about your powders.

Like said above, check your manuals and even the powder company's load data sites for the best information on those calibers and powders.

The only powder you listed that would work in both calibers is H4895. It's not the best powder for each but it will give you acceptable results.
