Hey all, I have a New Model Blackhawk, 45LC. I understand they make cylinders to run 45acp in these critters. Anyone have decent luck with them? If so, got a lead on where to find one?

Thanks all.

Ruger says they must be factory fitted. That said, it would be cheaper to trade your 45 Colt Blackhawk for a 45/45 Blackhawk convertible than to pay shipping and fitting plus cost of 45ACP cylinder.
I have a 45/45 convertible and find it a good combination.

The factory fitted 45acp cylinder will work exactly like your 45 Colt cylinder. Of course, you may need to adjust your sights for teh ned cartridge.
