Want a little reading for Fall/Winter? Try some MIT course work. (http://ocw.mit.edu/index.html)

"a free and open educational resource for faculty, students, and self-learners around the world. OCW supports MIT's mission to advance knowledge and education, and serve the world in the 21st century. It is true to MIT's values of excellence, innovation, and leadership.

MIT OCW:

Is a publication of MIT course materials
Does not require any registration
Is not a degree-granting or certificate-granting activity
Does not provide access to MIT faculty"

Nuclear engineering, anyone?

You can learn from MIT, just don't carry a firearm onto campus:

MGL Chapter 269 Section 10 (http://www.state.ma.us/legis/laws/mgl/269-10.htm)

The relevant portion is paragraph (j)

I clicked on the link, looked at the options, immediately went to Nuc.E, not because I'm a terrorist (I'm not, but no contrary evidence would convince SOME people), but because I'm a male human who used to be a boy and, well, boys get a charge out of things that go boom! From that point of view, the site is rather disappointing: It only discusses dull, bo-o-o-ring useful power-generating applications of nuke tech.

Another thing: I started out to be a scientist in my education, and though I failed at being any good at it, I wholeheartedly agree with the scientific ethic, viz., Everyone is better off if we find out all we can about everything and publish what we find out as widely as possible!
