CZ trigger question

I saw on another thread where someone suggested a Competition hammer for an SP-01 to improve the trigger. Would a Competition Hammer be able to be 'dropped in' to a P-01 with the decocker? And if so, does 'drop in' mean drop in for a gunsmith type or drop in for a novice? Obviously I'm the latter when it come to working on guns.
Thanks for any help.

the comp hammer would need to be modified for a decocker gun.
one side needs to be cut away to allow it to work with the decocking lever.
once that is done it would improve the trigger quite a bit.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like it's beyond what I can do.

You might be able to get a decocker-specific comp hammer from Ghost Custom, I saw they had some last spring but when I went to order they were all gone.

Replace your hammer spring with a lighter one. A 17# would lighten the trigger quite a bit. People run 15# without problems, but wouldn't carry it for ccw with it.
