Anyone have any sources for Military Brass? I'm looking for something like LC Match.

You need to go down and become very friendly with the RO at your local police range. You know... a bottle of liquor on his birthday... a fruit cake at Christmas. :D

The one job they hate above all others is picking up brass. You can make a deal to pick up all the brass if you can keep just the 223 you like. Then you gather all the kids in the neighborhood who want to make $5 and take them with some #10 cans. Let them crawl around and fill up cans while while you sort.

SWAT team members are also good to know.

I get more LC brass that way!

There is no LC Match 223, but there is LC Match 308. But, M852 has not been made in quite a few years. The current offering is M118LR which is loaded with a 175gr SMK.
A board member here, USSR, had some M118LR that was of known heritage for sale recently.


The OP should have snagged some LC primed brass that Graf's had around Xmas time. If you can find some IMI 308 brass it is hearty.

You need to be the brother of a cop who is also a RO and instructor. I get thousands of 223 and 40S&W a year this way. :)
