In answer to your question, I do not know. Mr. McNair might be connected with The Rutherford Institute, then maybe not. I believe that the following is more important, but you are the final judge of that.

McNair, whomever he is or might be, likely has an axe of some sort to grind, just like the rest of us. The point is, and I assume that you read his piece, how does it strike you? Does he seem to have his facts straight? Does his presentation hang together. Does it make sense to you, the reader. Maybe, maybe not. Your call. How does his presentation jibe, or not, with information you have, facts you are aware of, whatever you believe to be true?

Personally, and I could be all wet here, I think that the answers to the foregoing are more important than who David McNair is.

And I wasn't disparaging David McNair's opinion, which is interesting.

But a bylined article implies that the author has some gravitas beyond just being an ordinary citizen. The RI isn't standing behind it -- just the author, so I wonder who is that masked man?
