FAC is offering a frame and slide kit that includes the barrel and link and bbl bushing for $167, i called and aked who supplies these frames and slides and they tell me DPMS supplies them. Just curious if anyone has had any experience with these and how good a deal this really is?

Let me know if you find out anything. I got their circular today and think this would be a neat way to build a nice custom 1911 without having to rip apart a retail gun.
