I've got a manual (Lyman's latest edition) and plan on getting some more but when i went to make up my first batch of reloads I was diasappointed that the Lyman book didn't have data for what i thought was a pretty common 9mm bullet (115gr RN). I was able to get info from Hogdon's nice online loading center but like the idea of cross checking with two independent sources when deciding on types/amount of powder to use. Any other websites out there similar to Hogdon's?

About every powder manufacture has on-line data.

Just google Alliant powder, Accurate powder, IMR powder, whatever.

I also like handloads.com...But for the best data, the powder producers site is the place to go.

other manufacturers offer a small halfhearted token attempts at an online data center usually with less than a dozen loads for the most common calibers. All other manufacturers combined don't offer half the data you can get at Hodgon. In this respect hodgon leads the industry by a huge margin. I find myself buying Hodgon,IMR and Winchester powders whenever possible just for this reason

ditto krochus, when i finish up the reloader 25 powder i got i will switch to comparable hodgdon powder, as it is i only got two rifles shooting non hodgdon products, but i got 7 pounds of my 8 left so i won't switch them over till its gone.

If you go to Stevespages you can find about anything. I think it's a compilation of a lot of different sources. I haven't been there in years, but it had about anything you could want.

I use that kind of stuff for an additional source if two don't match up. I also snag onto the little freebie pamphlets that about all the manufacturers have available

The fee is $15 a year, so while it's not free, is IS cheap. It has some unique features like cartridge comparisons, and has graphic layouts with cartridge engineering drawings, so it's kinda different. You can sign on as a guest and get the feel of it.

I find it worthwhile for a reloader. It has a sort of 'freeware' look and feel, and is amateur-driven insofar as it's not a commercial powder company's site, but that's not a down side. It fills a niche that isn't filled by ammo companies. It doesn't do EVERYTHING, but for the price, I consider it a great value.

+1 for Ammoguide. Just crosscheck their data against another source for safety and you're good to go. I generally use either the Lee manual (because they tend to run conservative) and/or Hornady (because I usually use their bullets). They are a really good resource for obscure/obsolete calibers and ballistics info.

Nosler for rifle data with their bullets.

Norma with their powder, but some data with Nosler and others bullets.

If I understand the question correctly you are looking for Hodgdon/Winchester/IMR load data, not other company's load data sites. If I'm correct I think this will help even though there can be only one company site. There are many on the net but I find the Reloader's Nest (http://www.reloadersnest.com/index.asp) to be one of the best. (and it's free)

I use the search feature here and lok at old posts that have almost all the info I need. If properly searched, this site almost equals a manual for all powders, bullets, and calibers. Then of course, check it against the powder mfr.s site, and whatever manuals you have.
