Hi, Gents!
Iv'e found that my M98 likes the 196 grain heavy ball surplus ammo better than anything. For you deutschophiles, that's the Schweres Spitzgeschoss ammo.
Sadly, my ammo source of this dried up long ago.:eek: Does anybody out there have a pile of pulled 196 grain bullets lying around or have a line on 8mm that's cheaper than the "sniper ammo" that's selling these days? Or does anybody sell some? I've checked the usual places like Old Western Scrounger and whatnot. I'd like to get my hands on some of the 'good old stuff' instead of paying 30 cents each for new factory bullets.
