What do you think?

Put the knife in one pocket, the ammo in the other, and go with both guns.

...er, what am I thinking about?

How is the kick on the revolver with the 454 Casull Rounds? I have a s&w model 19 .357 snubby and it is pretty impressive when you fire 158 gr hollow points. It rattles my brain when i shoot it.
Great looking guns you have there. I own a glock 19 and i absolutely love it.

The Alaskan with .454 is a hard kicker, but I still think all the hoopla online makes it sound worse than it is. The thing I was most impressed with was the SOUND. It was amazingly loud. I went to my local range, which consists of 10 lanes. One shot with the 454 and everyone was looking at me. The lady next to me jumped so bad, she walked out the door and her husband was laughing (she came back). The guy next to me was shooting a .45 and .357. They sounded like BB guns compared to the Casull. The Ruger has to be my favorite gun I own.

The Glock is the old reliable. That is an amazing gun. It eats up and spits out Ammo. The 19 is the perfect size for me. Fantastic gun!

Hope you enjoy the hand cannon. They are loud. Hope you are wearing hearing protection.

I think that the knife looks tiny.

I think I would not like to wind up on the wrong end of either item pictured.

What do you think?

First of all, it's a magazine, not a "clip".

Yeesh.

None of them are quite my thing, but if they do the job, that's what counts. If the Ruger was made by anyone other than Ruger, I might like it for car carry.

Why aren't you a fan of Ruger?

Ok - how is the Ruger for belt CCW duty? I mean, does it feel like you are carting around a brick all day?

I can see the merits if carrying a .45 colt snubby for CCW.

Although .45 Colt through it would be about my limit!

Don't get me wrong, I'm an NRA member too, but the weak point in that whole setup is def. the knife!

That same pic. needs a Spydero Military in the mix!!!:)

The knife is fine. This forum is tilted toward firearms not knives, which is fine.Using a knife in defense,BIGGER is not BETTER all the time.Watch a man hold a knife that knows what he is doing in a defense/street fight. You may see 2 inches of the blade max.He wants to cut you and keep doing so,not stab you which can lead to loss of control of the blade.

I don't understand the 30 round Glock mag, at least for defense anyway.

It would be a blast at the range though. Would it fit in a model 26 I wonder ?
