what size miltiary crimp remover should i use for my trim mate, large or small. i never reloaded before. i'm reloading 30-06.

rcmodel February 12, 2009, 05:56 PM Depends on what size primer the round uses. If it's for a 30-06 or .308, you need a Large. If it's for a .223 you need a Small. rc HJ857 February 13, 2009, 09:21 AM Since you're using the Trim Mate, you can use a primer pocket uniformer rather than the military crimp remover. Just place the case on the uniformer slowly so it can cut without binding up. Also, there's no guesswork when using the uniformer, when it's done, it's done.
