I finally got my 2 dream guns. A pair of model 57's. One blue, the other nickel. I'll try to get pics later...I'll have to borrow a camera.

I'm in love with these revolvers.

You going to be shooting them? I love the Model 57's. I have a "few". Smith is bringing out a new Model 58 which I will probably buy. I assume it will have the lock and so forth like the Model 57 Mountain Gun. The Mountain Gun is my go to woods revolver if I want a larger bore, otherwise I choose 22's as usual.

if it can't be done with a 4 inch M-57 41 mag then you probably need a rifle. it is probably the best all around revolver ever made.

All I cary in the woods now. Mountain Gun with 4", with golddot handloads at 1000 fps.
