looking for a 5.56 sound suppressor in dark earth, preferably something that can be taken apart for cleaning, any suggestions?

I know the Tactical Innovations Tac16 can be disassembled for cleaning, but don't think they offer it in anything but black.

Any specific reason you are looking for one that can be taken apart? This is pretty rare in .223 suppressors.

yeah I know, I just like being able to service my what not without having to send it off (even though I'm sure it'll be years be for I'd have to) having one in dark earth is more important then the option of disassembly though.

That would do it for sure. How I love Krylon.

Being able to take apart isn't anywhere near as important for centrefire as it is for .22LR.

.22LR is a filthy little round with exposed pure lead and heavy lube. .223 doesn't have that, so a .223 can won't get anywhere near as filthy as a .22LR.

I wouldn't really sweat the takedown feature in a .223, personally.

Your selection criteria is screwed up. Color and disassembly?

Buy a can from Gemtech, AAC, Ops, or Surefire.

You forgot to mention SWR. I do have an AAC m4-2000 that has been a good can. I am now wanting a SWR 300 for my 300 mag. Like was mentioned, disassembly for a centerfire can is not a big deal. The main reason for disassembly for rimfire cans is that they will lead up. As long as you are shooting jacketed bullets in your .223, you should have no problems. You will probably have a hard time finding something other than black, just paint it if you need to.
