I just acquired 6 brand new 1911 magazines for a nominal price of FREE! 2 kimber mags and the rest are springfields, all stainless. Im pretty stoked! Plus I got two free boxes of .357 sig ammo. Today has been great!

I work at Gander Mtn, or as some of you will refer to it as Slander Mtn. The one I work at is actually pretty legit, mostly gun guys and I like to think most of us are fairly knowledgeable. Trust me, I know why some ppl dont like dealing with them bc I have had some interesting encounters with some of the other stores.
I had a customer sell me an unfired Springfield GI Stainless and he mentioned that he had a whole bag of extra mags that he didn't need anymore. I told him that I would be interested and that I would pay him for them if he brought them to me later in the week. He showed up like 3 hours later and gave them to me, he said he was really happy with the way I treated him and that he would just give them to me. I insisted on paying him, but he would not allow it.
Needless to say everyone behind the gun counter pretty much hates me now...:D

I am in the clear. The store wouldn't give him any extra and my store manager was there when it happened.
He was one of the jealous ones.

Now if we would of given him extra for the mags, I would of had to buy them for the store and then pay for them like a customer. Since we weren't going to give him anymore money, he just decided to give them to me.

Nice guns, but far from a 1911. The 1911 started a terrible addiction for me, I cant get enough to satisfy my cravings!
