Okay, I am not new to reloading this cartridge but it has been a bunch of years since I reloaded my last 45 ACP. I have a huge supply of both 155 grain semi wad cutters and 200 grain RNFPs left over from my Cowboy action shooting days so, this is where I want to start. The gun I will be shooting them in is a Taurus PT-1911 though I doubt that it matters. If you would be so kind, let me know which powders you have had the best luck with these bullet weights.

I would recheck the sizing on the bullets.....make sure they are sized .452 and not something else......if they are then consult the Lyman Reloading Manual as they have cast lead bullet data....

haven't shot any 155's, 200gr RNFP do well atop Bullseye as do all cast slugs I load for pistols. check the OD for proper size.

they are .452. I know a lot of guys like the light bullets for reduced recoil for plate shooting etc and I was just wondering if any of you had any experience with them. Right now I haven't found any load data for them, the 155s that is. Which powders are you favorites for the 45ACP?

Accurate, Winchester and Ramshot all have load data for 155 LSWCs on the web...
I've used both No 5 and Silhouette and they work fine for IPSC type loads, and WST is nice and clean for lower power levels.

For light target loads in .45 ACP with those 155 Gr SWC's & 200 RNFP's AA #2, W-231, WST, Competition, N310, or N320 will all work very well. What powders do you have on hand?

W-231, AA#2 and Bullseye will all do fine by those bullets for light target loads.
