Just out of curiousity, anyone here ONLY have revolvers?

I can't really make that claim myself, since I have a few old bequeathed semi-autos (ppk, p38, one commander 1911 etc...), but the majority of what I have in stock has cylinders. Furthermore, I don't really see any SA purchases in my future, but I could see any one of a number of different wheel guns vying for my meager discretionary budget.

Anyone here totally committed (or fit to be committed, as it were...)?

Right now I only have revolvers (not counting rifles and shotgun). I have owned bottom feeders in the past and will probably again in the future. But for now I love the way revolvers look and shoot.

I have 4 semi-autos, 2 1911, BHP and Ruger Standard model. No SA rifles or shotguns. Tried 10-22, didn't like. Lots of revolvers, old and older.

I decided to simplify life, and get rid of guns I don't shoot regularly. Sold several, dropped a couple of calibers from the lineup, and stabilized at 12 revolvers, no bottom feeders. I do have traditionally semi calibers. 5 of my revolvers are 45acp, 3 10mm, but those cartridges all fit in the circular magazine. 4 of my revolvers are for CCW/PD, the rest for range and hunting. I simply have no desire for a semi. I load all my ammo, and appreciate not having to chase empties all over the range. I'm not a believer in the spray and pray theory of personal defense and don't roam the malls hoping for an action movie two-fisted hundred-round shootout, so I don't feel at all undergunned.

Have owned semi-autos in the past but currently own only revolvers - S&W model 38 and S&W model 642

I thought I'd only EVER own revolvers........
I doubt that I'll ever go down the "plastic fantastic" road but after aquiring an FEG PA-63 (no plastic) I'll have to admit owning a semi. It just does things very well and is a nice carry gun. My next purchase will be another revolver though ;), they're just too reliable, versatile and good looking.

Just revolvers for me. Have one semi-auto that, while I technically own it, belongs to my daughter. Got my eye on a T/C Pro Hunter with pistol grip for a single shot handgun.

Currently, only revolvers.

I do own a couple semi-autos, but prefer revolvers. If I could only have one or the other, I would definantly keep the revolvers.

Me too.
I've got a Rossi 851 and a S&W 642.
That's it for handguns, but I also have an old Stevens 12 gauge. I'm thinking about maybe adding a S&W MP40 one day.

Well, all but 2 (G-19 and a CZ-82)are revolvers...but as to how many total...well, I can never be sure if the Mrs. is readings this... ;)

Almost.

I've got one little Bauer .25. The others are wheel guns.

I don't have very many handguns, though. As I expand my collection, I'll probably add several automatics (mostly JMB designs, with a few exotic foreign pistols for flavor). However, most will be revolvers.

Nothing but revolvers here. I've been wanting to buy a shotgun and a rifle, but even there I would like to find some obscure revolver type long gun, or build one myself. :D

I hate autoloaders with a very serious passion.

I've made three exceptions: 1. duty and 2. off-duty Glocks (necessary tools of the trade) and 3. a 1911. Other than that, nothing but revolvers. I assume we're talking strictly about our handguns, and not our long guns.

If I had it to do all over again I would probably stick with revolvers only, but I have several semi-autos and really like them. My XD9 and CZ RAMI are great. I don't really look at autos much now, though. There's just something about those wheelies.

After selling my MKII last autumn, my roundgun metamorphosis was complete. My wife owns the only evil-bottom-feeders in the house - and I don't touch them - a Walther P22 and a Seecamp .32. In fact, my only non-S&W revolvers are my 1895 Nagants and a Ruger Old Army c&b. I have fewer handguns these days - but I have what I want and enjoy.

The only handguns I have currently besides revolvers are five 1911s. Otherwise it's all revolvers. I don't see a need for any more autos for, hmm, the rest of my life. There are still a few more revolvers I want, though.

I like revolvers the best but I do have the obligatory 1911 and Ruger Mark II.

Wheelguns only. 5 x 38/357s and 1 x 22lr.

Last 1911 was sold a year ago in a caliber standardization move.

Interestingly (at least to me, of course), this is a line of thought that I have been considering; I can't very well afford to stockpile every round in production, so I tend to keep on hand some .357 and, er, uh, some more .38...

The only fly in that particular ointment is this sentimental attachment I have to my one 3-inch 5 shot .44 special...

I suppose the .38 in various loadings is the perfect "wife", while the .44 probably falls more under the "mistress" category...

Of the nine pistols I own, six of them are revolvers. The range/gun shop I frequent buys a lot of used guns, often buying out estates and such. I always check out the used revolver case and for whatever reason don't really pay much attention to the used autos that might be there. I've picked up a couple of real nice older pieces this way. I enjoy shooting both but there's something about a revolver that satisfies me. I carry a 642 for it's simplicity and reliability.

Right now I'm "half & half." Anyone ever have a revolver for S&W40? Well, if you have something like I have, a S&Wmodel 610 then you do! My 610 will shoot S&W40, with moon clips! Very versitile! Of course, it handles 10mm with or without moon clips. I don't own anything I can't carry.

At one time I was fairly evenly divided but gradually my inventory evolved into nothing but revolvers, at first almost all double-action. Over time, my interest in single-action revolvers grew and my revolvers became fairly evenly divided between DA and SA. More recently I've gravitated toward bigger bullets, heavier weight, at lower velocity, pretty exclusively in SA revolvers which led me to buy one semi-auto in .45 acp, a Ruger P90 (since I had some magazines from an earlier copy). I wanted something to keep for HD that was subsonic, reliable, held a couple more rounds, and was faster to reload than my Blackhawks I had been somewhat depending on. (Still do somewhat depend on them.) Never fear, I have some dandy .357s also.

I suspect I will buy at least on more semi-auto .45 acp in the future. My reasons are caliber and not platform. Platform-wise I like SA revolvers first, DA revolvers second. For me, semi-autos are for utility, not for love.

Don't particularly like pistols; but they're a necessary evil at times til I can get to a rifle or shotgun. I only practice with them a couple of times a year.
They're all Ruger Security/Service Six revolvers with different barrel lengths, except for one Ruger .22 WMR SA revolver. The action on them is the same, trigger pull nearly the same, exact same ammo, each one sighted in for the same ammo as the other. I can pick one up and don't have to worry about whether its sighted in or not for this ammo because it is.

I only have revolvers.
-S&W Model 27 4" barrel
-Ruger .357/.38 sp101
-Ruger New Vaquero .45LC
-Uberti Walker .44 cal.
-Uberti 1958 Remington .44 cal.
-Pietta 1862 Police .36 cal.
OOPs! And two front stuffers
- Lymans Plains Pistol .50 cal.
-CVA Kentucky pistol .45 cal.
I never seem to have the time to shoot all these so the Chief Financial Office(AKA Wife) won't authorize auto loader acquisitions.:cuss:
