[Liberty or Death 86]

I recently purchased a Marlin 795 rifle. The weapon performs beautifully. I'm getting quarter sized groups at 50 and 100 yards. However, I recently had a problem with the mag. It's a 10 round mag that came with the rifle. When I loaded it with 10 it decided that it wanted to disobey me and the spring decided it didn't want to fit right and refused to feed. I managed to reset the spring but was wondering if this is a reoccurring problem with Marlin or if it is a fluke. Anyone have any insight?
