Mega Dodos

Fox News reporting,
Rush is being investigated for drug dealing in legal heroin. This after having to resign for racist remarks on ESPN, makes for a bad week for the ditto-heads. ;) Reports in the LA Times say Arnold did sexually inappropriate antics on his movie sets. Of course, no charges were ever filed, and Gray Doofus and the Times swear his campaign didn't leak this info. :rolls eyes:
Politics is an ugly bidness. I have more respect for Colin Powell every day.

 WHAT racist remarks?
When did pointing out the racism of OTHER people become racist?
Oh, my bad. Of course. When a conservative points out other people's racism, THAT'S racism.

1. What he said about McNabb was dumb. McNabb was never really "that good?" By whose standards? Guy went to the division championships, albeit with awesome teams and support.
2. The media is propping up mediocre black quarterbacks? As a long-suffering Bears sucker/fan, I would like to offer a respectful two-word rebuttal to that idea:
Kordell Stewart. Here's a guy who is not living up to his hype--and the media is excoriating him for it, even though the team around him would have kept Joe Montana out of the Super Bowl.
3. It wasn't a racist remark, but I do think Rush was seeing some media bias goblins that weren't there on this particular issue. Of course, the local liberal drive-time host has gleefully seized on this one to show that there is no bias in the media--Rush Limbaugh made it all up.

Maybe Jimmy Swaggart will hear his confession. If you're going to be a pompous windbag who reflexively defends all the right things, best not to dabble with the devil's candy. Caught in the vortex of a vast left-wing conspiracy, no doubt. E-mails, tape recordings, records of cash transactions, an eye witness, and a trail of doc feel-good scrips ... sounds like evidence won't be a problem. Hypocrisy ... priceless.

I do feel sorry for Rush; he undoubtedly needs painkillers because of his ear.
On the other hand, he supported Drug Prohibition even though he knows full well that it's un-Constitutional. Maybe he'll be forced into a more consistent stance now.

Rush is an opinionated boob, it's his job, and it's what he was hired for at ESPN. Sometimes he hits, sometimes he misses, but this is PC run amok. Clearly, he's better at socio-political commentary, as IMO, he's not too good at sports blather. He has always said it's his opinion, but I think Donnie ia juat having a bad season . . . . I smell an agenda.:barf:

Donivan Mc Nabb LIFETIME QB rating = 77.
It would be very generous to call that mediocre.

I feel sorry for anyone addicted to prescription pain-killers, I've watched the effects up close. "Here, let's put you on the maximum dosage of fentonyl for a week, then cut you off cold ... ooh, look - withdrawal!" !@#$ Doctors :fire:. However, it's more likely that the cause of his hearing loss was the drugs. Several prescription painkillers, vicodin for example, if abused in too high a dosage can cause you to lose your hearing. Of course, so can taking too much aspirin.

To be fair Rush did not claim that the drugs were for his ear problem. They were for back surgery that did not work. There is some unsubstantiated claims that the drug use caused the hearing problems.
If the back problem claim is true I feel for him. Those who have never suffered this type of never ending pain can not possibly know the frustrating , hopeless, and helpless feeling associated with it. There is no feel good high it just dosn't hurt anymore and that's an easy thing to get used to

The question about him facing prosecution on a drug charge is almost nil.
How many drugs did the cops find?? None.
All they have is a woman who says she bought drugs for him, and him going to rehab.
Does that make a winning case for a prosecutor? I don't think so.

A woman whose husband was convicted of cocaine trafficing. Sounds really credible to me... ;)

That would make her testimony less credible.

Rush made a boneheaded mistake with his ESPN comment.
It is considered socially lean to tinkle in someone else's cornflakes.
His schtik works on his network. That don't mean it works on another network.
