I would like to start loading blackpowder cartridges for my 1874 Sharps. I was looking at the various dies for the rifle and noticed there are 45-70 Sharps, 45-70 WCF and 45-70 Government. Which ones do I need?

What does the barrel on your rifle say, and what caliber is marked on the head stamp of the brass?

The WCF and the GOV'T are the same. Can't swear to the Sharps with out looking at my manuals.

The 45-70 Gov & 45-70 WCF are one & the same.
There is, or was no 45-70 Sharps.
They had what was called a 45-75 Sharps Straight, or Sharps 45-2 1/16" in 1876. It was sometimes called the 45-70 Sharps.
But it too was identical to the 45-70 Gov / 45-70 WCF.
You want plain ordinary 45-70 reloading dies.
