Anybody ever get to play with one of these? I've been looking at them as a cheaper alternative to the pedersoli howdah pistols. Its a .62 caliber smoothbore.

I really like the howdah pistols but they are a bit out of my price range right now, though I could pretty easily swing one of these.

Anybody own one?

I called and talked to the folks at Middlesex a year ago, before I bought my Howdah. They have sold quit a few of those, in fact you have to get on a list. The buyers appear to be happy. I haven't ran across one in the BP forums yet.
I know the Pedersoli is twice as much money, but I'm glad I went with it.
