Hi all,

1. I can't find surplus 7.62 anywhere! Any ideas?

2. What nationalities are good and which should I stay away from?

Thanks

Ammunition:

I prefer NATO surplus for general purpose use - Educate yourself (http://www.rifle-company.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=35).
Prices went stupid some time ago... the 1K case of Port that I paid $135 for is now selling for about $600!

At this point, unless you are floating in cash, reloading should be top of your list for ammo source.

At 60-70 cents a round you will pay for reloading in VERY short order, as long as you can get components.

Over the years here on THR, that is.

There's no reason you can't save some money, and make your own 7.62mm NATO ammo.

It'll be more accurate, as well.

You can start with a used single-stage press, and work your way up from there as time, money, and experience dictate. ;)

I can even set you up with some good brass to get the ball rolling...
