There's lots of different Cartridge Overall Lengths posted for 115, or 124 gr. posted on the forum. What is your preference (I'm loading 124 gr. FMJ)?

I assume you are talking about RN bullets. I like bullets loaded longer than 1.100", in fact the longer the better, since I know FTF issues will be minimized.

I seated the last 124 FMJ RN I had at 1.152" OAL. Next batch will have to be at 1.142" for my new magazines.

I seat the Ranier 115 Gr RN and the Hornady 115 Gr FMj at 1.130 to 1.135 O.A.L.

I just loaded some Master Match 125 Gr JSP's at 1.110 and they shot great at that O.A.L.

The OAL I use for my Glock 34 is 1.15. Rounds feed all day long with zero feeding issues.

For my Berettas, I load the Hornady 124gr FMJ-Enc at 1.160" and the Speer 124gr GDHP at 1.140". Just starting to work up a load for the Dardas 125gr LRN.

For 124 FMJ my OAL is 1.155. Feeds well in everything I have.

Thanks for all the suggestions! The manuals were some help here, they show (125 RN FMJ) lengths between 1.075 and 1.135 with max. 1.169 depending on source. I'm reloading for the Walther P1 with Winchester and Berry bullets. I'm working up loads to see what it likes-staying away from max. powder charges with this hex-added modern P1.
