I have seen these in S.O.G.'s catalog and now I found one over on gunbroker. It is clear they are not "real" Makarovs but that is what people are advertising them as.

Has anyone seen or shot one?

That isn't a Makarov, but is chambered for the same cartridge. The Hungarians had the PA-63, which is the same sort of pistol. I've seen a number of those advertised as Makarovs, too.

It's got a 6-round magazine and a mass of 636 grams empty. That's heavier than the PA-63 at 595 grams but less than the Mak at 663 grams. I haven't shot one but I'd bet it's pretty snappy.
