Buzz lightyear on the Disney channel.

It seems an omniscient being convinces all of the galaxy leaders to disarm and give peace a chance.

All sides take the message to heart because they believe the omniscient all seeing being can protect them from harm.

All weapons are dismantled and are headed for the recycler.

It turns out the supposed higher beings (voiced by Eric Idle from monte python) is actually an attack force getting ready to mow over the now unarmed alliance.

Buzz lightyear discovers the plan, exposes the bad guys and shows how naive everyone was by giving up their weapons for the promise of galactic peace.

Everyone rebuilds their weapons and defenses in the nick of time lesson learned.

I'm still shocked ....I thought Disney was in with the dark side.

the disney cartoon 'gargoyles' has also provided pro-self defense messages as well. unfortunately that show is no longer in production but its reruns are on cable.
one episode had oberon coming back to reclaim his heir from its human parents, the parents fought back, grabbing a rifle and later a pistol. oberon commended their resolve to keep their family safe so he let them have a few hours to say 'goodbye' to the child.

The Disney organization also has financial agreements with Michael Moore, the anti-Second Amendment bigot.

That plot reminds me of one of my favorite Dilbert strips (I paraphrase here):

Dogbert: It would be great there were no weapons in the world.

Dilbert: That's a very noble sentiment, Dogbert.

Dogbert (to himself): If everyone else was disarmed, I could take over this entire planet with a butter knife.

Ever see Warner Brothers Iron Giant? It was filled with unreserved hostility to guns and hunting.

Ever see Warner Brothers Iron Giant?

That movie was indeed very anti-everything.

Actually, Disney deep-sixed their association with Moore so fast that the article in the American Rifleman mentioning it came out after they had already kicked him to the curb.
