Does anybody want to post pictures and/or descriptions of the gun you use (or would use) if your going turkey hunting?
Please post what you use in the way of chokes, shot, shell brand, etc.
You can also say what calls you use and such.
As for me here's my setup:
Gun:
12 Gauge Remington 870
Choke:
H.S. Strut "Undertaker" .675
Shell:
I use both Kent "Ultimate Diamond Shot" 3 inch No. 4 shot and Federal 2 3/4 inch No. 6 shot.
I will post pictures soon.

Heres mine:12 ga. Mossberg 835 Ulti Mag, Simmons 4x32 8-Point scope. Preston Pittman Extra Full Turkey choke. I shoot 3 in. Winchester Supreme High Velocity Turkey Loads in a #6 shot. This setup has scored birds at 60 yards for me! Would not sell it or trade it for anything!!

I dont have a picture but just use a mossberg 500, choke is either modified or extra full depending on whats in the gun at the time, use 3 inch shells usually 4 shot winchester but sometimes use other brands.and I always use mouth calls.

dcar_roll, I like your setup.
Did it come with that camo job?

If I ever get to do a turkey hunt again, I've got the gun for it. I bought it for geese, actually, and it works great for that. I've been hunting hogs with buckshot on a local WMA with it, too, but I've only ever got to hunt turkey once in my life, took a nice tom. I did that with my old double barrel Sarasqueta 12 gauge.
Anyway, here's my 10 gauge H&R turkey model......

Yes I got the gun and it had the "Upland Camo" paint job already on it. It actually came from the factory this way! Before the days of dipped camo jobs this was Mossbergs factory camo.

Here's my factory camo Mossberg. It's my duck gun, but I COULD use it for turkey and HAVE used it for geese. It's a 500, not an 835, but hevi shot even the odds on geese. Just that hevi shot has gotten a tad expensive, so I got the 10 for an alternative.
The barrel is 28" long on the Mossy, not the in thing to have for turkey now days. My 10 is very compact being a single shot and has a 24" barrel. It tosses an ungodly tight pattern with steel and a modified choke. I've not tried turkey loads with the X full choke in it, but I'm told it'll shoot like a rifle. I just don't hunt turkey, don't have 'em on my place and don't have a place to hunt 'em and ain't going to pay 2 grand for a turkey hunt. I can buy a butterball for a lot less.

Camo is available on a LOT of guns now days. It's a tough finish, too, what I really like about it since I hunt salt marsh and bay a lot. You can get all the designer camo patterns, but this is OEM Mossberg proprietary camo and was cheaper. You can also get any gun camo dipped if you so desire. There are places that will do it. It's not really a necessary thing for waterfowl hunting, turkey maybe a little more useful. But, it's sorta duck hunter chic, all the style, ya know. :D

Top one is my current turkey gun. Remington SP-10, 10 gauge with Tru-Lock choke. I use #5 Hevi-Shot. Kills of 12, 26, 51 and 66 yards. The Tru-Lock throws unbelievable patterns.

r2, nice shotguns; is the bottom one for deer or what? And why do you use hevi-shot, instead of lead?

I am in Oklahoma, so the season is fast approaching!
I was driving up a road near my house, when we saw some near the road less than a mile away from my house.
We have ten acres of field and eight acres of wooded land that I can hunt.
I think I'm gonna start calling for them, get them settled in the area.
I use a glass slate with a carbon striker.
