Cast bullet storage?

I bought 500 x 500 S&W 440 grain hardcast bullets from Montana Bullet Works and want a suggestion on storing them. They're pretty heavy and since I don't have nearly that much brass, it will be some time before I've used them all.
What type of containers do you use?

Whatever they came works fine. Why do you need to move them to something else?

30 cal or 50 cal ammo cans will work great. One filled with lead will weigh close to 100 lbs so don't drop it on your toe. I never place ammo cans directly onto cement floors (or any kind) as they will rust easily. Place some wooden strips under them and they will ourlast any of us, wc

They're in a corrugated cardboard box and I'd prefer something which is harder for me to spill.

I love those boxes, they stack well. Course, there's always coffee cans or cigar boxes. As to the latter, call a few cigar shops and ask about boxes, they throw a lot of 'em out.
Or maybe mason jars with 100 bullets/jar (that's a good round number.)

I either use the box they came in or transfer them to a plastic container. I have been buying the 2.5 pound cashew and mixed nuts plastic "cans" at Costco for years, so I have quite a few. (Use them for brass, too.) Coffee cans work as well, but you can't see the contents.

I prefer freezer bags. Heavy ones work best. I usually store that in an ammo can. You can use quart size and put whatever quanity you plan to load for the day. I store thousands this way and have never had any kind of probelm.

Careful with those. Clear plastic gets brittle after exposure to sun. Heavy loads will not do those much favor.
I like the new, blue Maxwell coffee cans with the handle. They are easy to fill, easy to carry, and stack OK. I just write on the lid what is inside, and I usually tear the label off the box and stick it inside, too.

I had some 155 gr SWC I had (lost) misplaced in the bottom of a foot locker for 6-7 years, they were in the original cardboard boxes .All was well no oxidation, lube was still intact. The foot locker had been moved from from my mobile home
(yeah I might be a redneck) to my present home, but alway indoors.
I have 500 or so stored now in the original box, that are 4 yrs old and no degradation.
As a thought I wonder if the lube used when sized or tumbled has an effect on oxidation?
