Beretta 1201 FP vs. Benelli M1 Super 90 Stocks

I found a 1201 FP with standard stock, recently. The stock seems a bit more ergonomic than the pistol grip stocked Benellis. The thing that bothered me, though, was the buttstock had a VERY cheap, hollow feel. I know it is hollow, but it just felt very plasticky and noisy.

Is this gun easier to fire than the Benelli? Is there a better standard stock for the Beretta? (I'm not even sure I want the Beretta, due to the tiny rifle sights it had on it...)

Thanks for any help,
Steve
