"Boondocks" is usually a doctrinaire hard-left lunatic fringe strip, but I had a good giggle when I saw that one.

Boondocks is rampant racism in comic strip form.
If a strip about a white kid, and written by a white person, said anything even REMOTELY like a lot of the crap that the Boondocks spews, there would be riots.
