I have been searching for a good set of ebony (smooth or checkered) combat stocks for a J frame. Can anyone point me in the right direction? There doesn't seem to be any makers of such a product or at least I can't seem to find them...

Esmeralda, yes.

Another option (search under wood, you'll find they also do ebony):

OOPS! Darn enter button. Hinton, that's the first I've heard of those grips. Absolutely beautiful. I'll have a set before long.

I am not looking for the boot style. What I would like to see is the combat style but in ebony. They will be going on the 3" 60 and a boot style doesn't feel right to me. Any other thoughts?

I do not see ebony, but she has some sweet grips. LOL, I think the Cocobolo's are calling my name... though the Andrian Alders are sweet also.

Esmeralda is not working in ebony right now. I wanted some checkered ones for my Ruger 50th Blackhawk Flat top .357

Ther is a set of Ebony 1911 grips listed for sale right now from Esmeralda. If she isn't working in Ebony any more I just may pick them up.

It is one of the woods she lists at the top left of her home page so hopefully she will offer them again soon.
