EDC Kits?

What does everyone carry in their EDC kits and what do you put it all in? I've seen some pictures of them before and remember thinking about how long it would take to get ready and how stuffed my pockets would be if I had to carry all of that stuff. Pictures are appreciated! Thanks!

Since this is a firearms forum should we assume you're referring to what firearms and firearms related material do we all lug around?

What is an EDC kit?

Context would suggest that we are talking about some type of emergency survival kit, but I've not seen this particular acronym before!

EDC = EveryDay Carry.

It's typically thrown around "gadget" type forums (including flashlight, knife, guns, etc) to discuss the stuff in your pockets and on your belt. These sort of threads usually are accompanied by pictures of such items. This being a firearms forum, as hso pointed out, would lean towards firearms and related stuff. i believe he is referring to an everyday carry kit. I personally carry a Byrd Cara Cara (3 1/2 in blade folder knife), a Leatherman skeletool and a 6 in mag light (looking to upgrade to a smaller led light). This is during the winter of course when i have a coat and lots of pockets. I will probably change my flash light by summer to something a bit easier to carry. Also i am looking to get my CC permit soon and will be carrying probably a compact .380 or 9mm. I also carry my cell phone wallet and keys but i figured that would be obvious.

Keys, wallet, lighter, smokes, extra lighter, phone, jawbone(blutooth), G.O.D.(gun of the day), extra mag, little metal pill case containing 4 leaf clover and miniature rubber chicken, 3/8"ball bearing, that's about all. Oh, tiny little folding pliers and tiny led light.

What Jorg said and yes including firearms as the main attraction that's why I posted it in the general gun discussion.
