Buying my next SIG - poll?

I have a P220. P239 doesn't fit my hand so for CCW I use a S&W CS9 or 3913. Collect USGI M1911's. There's a big sale on at the local dealer, should I buy:

Greeting's VG-
I voted for the P228*, as its probably one of the better
balanced self-loaders available. I have an older (1990 model)
and besides being beautiful; it functions flawlessly. It took
me many moons to find one with hi-caps; but I got lucky in
October of 1998.
*FootNote: since you already own the world famous P220!

You did not mention caliber in the initial post so I went with the 9mm P228.
You mentioned you already own a P220 and the while I think the P226 is a very fine sidearm, unless you were planning on .40 or.357, the P228 makes more sense if you are looking for a 9mm.
Keep in mind that many are having difficulty obtaining a P228 due to the necessity SIG has in fulfilling its contract to the military. If you have a line on a P228 at a fair price... jump on it!
Whatever you end up with you will be getting an excellent pistol!

I only have experience with the 228 so far(and I just bought that a week and a half ago)...but I absolutly love it.
I have nothing bad to say about the model or the company thus far.
Prices seem to kinda vary on it, it seems, but I grabbed mine with 4 mags(2 high-caps) for a decent price. :)
Quite happy with it- can't go wrong with 13 rds in a great sized gun(fits my hand perfectly).

Guess I'll have to pick the 228, BUT......anything less than a .45...is simply that!!!!

voted for the 228, but the 239 is a great CCW pistol. try and find one with a set of Hogues on it, those grips make a big difference

I just picked up my SigP220ST with the older style rail. I also have a P225. I can't wait to shoot this P220. It feels great in the hand. Good solid weight. Only dry fired it so far. The single action is pretty nice, not as good as my 1911s , but way better than my USP40. The double action is smoooooth, again much better than my USP40. I need to get to the range.

Get a 226 since you already have a 220.:)

I wouldn't trade my 228 for all the rice and tea in china.
Since you already have a 220, and at least one 1911, get the 228.
It might be a better carry gun than a CS9 or a 3913.
How will you know if you don't try it out?

It might be a better carry gun than a CS9 or a 3913. Although a very, very fine pistol they won't be replacing either of those. Much more compact, lighter, and I already have an all-the-time holster. A 228 with night sites would be a good addition, though.
I tried to like the P239, but the S&W's just seem to work better all around for me. I was a reluctant convert. But I like the availability of a manual safety and the choice to use it or not. I have confidence in the safety of the SIG for CCW but the smaller S&W's work better for my CCW requirements and are essentially invisible.
The P220 is terrific, hence my interest.
