I know often I have read how Lorcins are junk however; I have a Chrome L 380 that has preformed flawlessly.

Anyone else had the same experience?http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k228/dogdpit/th_IMG_0698.jpg (http://s89.photobucket.com/albums/k228/dogdpit/?action=view&current=IMG_0698.jpg)

It has been suggested I load it and put it in a night stand they said shooting it to much it will break or fall apart?

Please let me hear from you Lorcin folks!

They might be to embarrassed to reply :)

+1 to you for actually admitting you own one :D

It's not a bad LOOKING gun, just the quality of metal is substandard. Even if yours performs well, you should keep an eye on wear after each shooting session. You can get the cheap ones to keep working well as long as you pamper them and pay attention to them every time you shoot. Look for barrel wear, slide wear, cracks, wear to the magazine feed lips, etc..

Do those have any kind of warranty on them? I know a few of the cheaper guns come with lifetime warranties.

Man we went around and around on these and others a couple of weeks ago.

I've got a couple of these cheap ones that have yet to give me any problems. Also have some $1000 to $1500 stuff that have yet to give me problems.

If you like them have at it, and enjoy yourself but I'm afraid you'll get hammered here.

Jest funnin ya, Dogspit! If your Loricin works, it's sure better than nothing!! My son bought one of those. It actually functioned ok. The slide broke and fell off after about 150 rds of Cor Bon. Interestingly enough, Loricin replaced the slide. He keeps it in his desk drawer loaded, but unfired since the repair.

Yes, Lorcin is out of business. Jim Wldrof sold the designs and tooling to Cobra.
Should you ever need parts, the Cobra FS-380 is the Lorcin L.380 . Parts are interchangeable.
Congrats on your Lorcin being a good shooter. Some are not out of the box, some are....the majority can be made to shoot fine with the same fluff'n'buff that people give their Kimbers.
And yep...you probably regret posting now....I don't blame you. I have dozens of the Ring Of Fire ZAMAK pistols and enjoy shooting them. Just remember you'll get roasted here if you post about it.

I have one that I actually shot at the range this weekend for the first time in 10 years. Of course I waited until there was no one else around:D

I bought mine when I was a poor college student and didn't know any better.

I only shot a few rounds because I was saving my ammo for my new LCP but it did OK. It's the kind of gun that one could hide as a last, last, final resort.

the upside to trusting your life to a Lorcin is never having to mow the grass again cause your now watching it grow from the root side.

as for the lifetime guarantee--it ends with yours, not its

One thing you MUST realize about a Lorcin, Cobra, Raven or others like these.

They come with no bragging rights & therefore are unable to boost the owners ego.

Last but not least if you run out of ammo during a social encounter the L 380 is just heavy enough to throw at the bad guy and knock his a$$ out lol
