CDNN are selling off new SigPros with night sights for $469 each and I'm tempted to pick up 3 or 4 as future traders.

Anyone done business with them, and if you're an Arizona resident, do you know of a good dealer to do the transaction through?

PS - sorry the first thread appeared with no content, mods can you please delete it.

Thanks

I have purchased two pistols from them. The Customer Service is second to none. The prices on the HKs were cheaper than any other place I could find. Many people I know enjoy doing business with them, including my local dealer here in Downeast NC.

I bought a 3" S&W Model 65 from them. I recently bought three Novak M1911 magazines from them. I was extremely satisfied with their customer service. I would not hesitate to do business with them in the future.

I frequently buy from the CDNN folks and will continue to do so. They are friendly and efficient and often helpful; the materials I've bought have always been shipped promptly and have arrived as advertised and in good shape. I often recommend them to others and will continue to do so.

As much as you can trust any business, you can trust them. Which isn't a back-handed insult or anything, just an acknowledgment that you can have problems with *any* business. They've always done right by me, and anyone I know.

Good luck!

I've purchased many mags from them and never had a problem.

They have some crazy deals on handguns, namely a couple S&W wheelguns that I'd pick up if I wasn't "po".

What does the POR mean when they have it listed instead of the price? Price on request or something like that? I know you have to call to get the prices. I see they have the the FNP .45s and I'm interested in what they're asking for them.

Yeah Jeff, I think it's "price on request". It's a bit annoying, but it seems they really do try to sell things as cheaply as possible, so maybe it's worth the effort.

Thanks, I think I might call tomorrow to check the price. I've been drooling over the FNP 45 for a while now. I went into the shop last tuesday to finally buy one and it was gone, but it was priced a little high, at least I thought it was at 650. So now I'm really intrigued. Do they have a list of FFL dealers in a certain area like buds does?

I live in Dallas and would happily drive to CDNN's place in Abilene...any idea if they let people come pick items up?

This might be a dumb question, but I need to ask. I see a lot of people refer to handguns that they've bought from CDNN, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to look at the guns. I've looked all over the accessories page trying to find them. I don't know if I'm blind or what. I'd really appreciate any help on this mystery (to me anyways!).

Thanks,
Fri

I called CDNN and they say they do not sell guns or have an online retail store. Am I mixing this place up with another CDNN? I saw they do sell gun parts and such.. Are the peopel who talk about CDNN refering to a retail shop they walk into? I am confused .

Fri, you have to download the catalog to view the firearms they have advertised. It's a big catalog and it around 30 mb to download and takes a few minutes. They don't list prices for the handguns, you have to call and ask for the prices.

If you're a customer, you'll get their catalog in the mail which does have the prices listed. Just buy something...

everything said above has been my experience also but watch their shipping charges. They charged me $14.99 to ship one magazine through the post office to Florida. It should have been around $6 for the post office.

If you get on their email list they will send you notices of weekend shipping specials for 9.99 shipping or half price shipping or even free shipping if you order a certain amount. This past weekend was one of those...thru 6pm today. It was half price or something for $150 order and free for a $300 order. A couple of weeks ago it was half price shipping for ordering any hi-cap mag.

ps...Excuse the lack of commas...I'm lazy today.

If you're only ordering a couple small items, their shipping prices are through the roof. However, on quantity orders, they are not too bad.

They are THE place to order magazines from, no contest.

When everybody was out of stock on XD-45 mags, CDNN had a bunch.

They have always done right by me, no complaints.

CDNN is a good place to deal with from what I hear, but BGS has them for the same price with shipping included. Sig SP2022 (http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/21_28/products_id/14903)

Unfortunately, I am unable to figure out how to shop for anything other than accessories at CDNN.

If I go to one of the CDNN web sites that list an option for handguns, it loads a page that tells you that you need to be an FFL holder and a dealer to proceed.

It then directs you to the cdnnsports website that has no firearms.

I cannot find a link to a catalog.

Are all the people who comment on CDNN firearm deals actually dealers with an FFL?

Thanks.

Bob

I don't see what the problem is.

Go to the link I posted in post #21, and click where it says "Download Newest Catalog". Then download the catalog. Or, I'll be extra nice and you can just click here. (http://www.cdnninvestments.com/dowournewcat.html) I can't make it much easier than that.

And no, you don't need to be an FFL to buy a gun from them, but you will need to have it transferred through an FFL.

Cdnn is a very reliable company with some great prices. My ONLY complaint is the stupid requirement to call for firearms prices. If that made good business sense, every gun dealer would do it. That irritates me about as much as a gun shop that posts a no carry sign on the door. And no, you can't go there and shop, it's strictly a mail order outfit.

IIRC, CDNN started making you call for prices after a BIG credit dispute with Citigroup, where Citi froze $75,000 in card collections because CDNN was 'illegally selling guns via the internet, or something of that sort. I think they stopped publishing handgun prices online as a means to "improve" their image to the "politically correct" outside world.

Like it or not, they made that decision under pressure. I'm just glad they're still in business. I haven't heard if they ever got their money back from Citigroup, it's been quite a while, but there aren't a lot of firearms dealers that can take a $75,000 hit and keep going like it never happened.

One thing that I've found with most "Call for Price" companies, including CDNN, is that they often have prices that are much better than the other guys. On new guns, it's an easy way around manufacturers Minimum Advertised Price policies. It doesn't bother me that much, and they're more than willing to give you a price when you call them.

They do publish most of their prices in their print catalog. You could probably get one sent to you if you don't already have one.

I have bought 2 Glocks and a S&W 5946 from them in the last year. Also tons of accessories like mags, red dots, slings,...................

Never an issue. Always a great transaction.
