Help a poor addict - I accidentally visited Auction Arms (http://www.auctionarms.com/) today and found a pristine Uberti Walker there for $300 (buy it now) plus $22 shipping. I've used up this month's gun money.

Speaking of Josey Wales, I wonder what Clint Eastwood looks like in real life, as those Walkers in his hands looked the size of 1860's in mine!

I finally watched that part of the movie again, where he is drawing on the one Redleg near the end of the movie - AFTER having seen discussions of the guns on this forum - to really watch what he was using.

Yep, Walker's plain as day. Don't know how I missed that before.

And, if I had not already used my gun money, and if the wife had not just had a job switch, I might be obliging you on getting that Walker. :(

I have met Clint Eastwood. It was while I was stationed in Monterey Calif. A buddy and I were in the bar he owned in Carmel called the Hogs Breath Saloon. He came up to us and asked if we were in the service and gave us each drinks and dinner on him! He is a real gentleman, a great actor and a pretty big guy. So a pair of Walkers would look "smaller" in his hands.
