I have been scratchin' my head bloody over this one. For revolvers in the old wild west, what was the name of the holster style that was basically a cell phone clip on your belt? It could swivel and it didn't actually cover your iron neither. I think how it worked was you had to take apart your revolver to attach the hook or whatever was used. I just saw it on the History Channel but can't find anything about it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I believe it was called a Thompson Clip in Keiths Sixguns book.

Also more correctly called a Bridgeport Rig.

The flat spring-clip was riveted to the belt, and the hammer screw on a SAA or other gun was replaced with a longer stud-head screw that fit into the clip fingers.

The gun could be rotated and fired from the belt, or pushed forward to snap it from the clip.

That is exactly what I was thinking of. Thank you very much sir. You wouldn't by any chance know where I could get a remake for cheap would ya?
