I want to know if any one knows the ballistics of some reloads. The recipe is
35.0 Gr Of IMR 4064 and a CCI 200 with a 70GR Sierra HPBT Match King.

My rough guess is 3000-3100 FPS.

I just happen to have my books open, Sierra manual starts with 35.8 gr. @3000 fps with a 22" barrel, max load is 39.4 gr. 35 may be a good place to start, if the accuracy isn't there move on to anohter powder.

For what it's worth I tried that bullet in my 22" .243 Tikka with sub 1" 3 shot groups with 39.0 grain of IMR 4895 and 36,8 gr. H4895. The IMR shot a bit tighter but the H4895 shot consistently .857 outside to outside even shaped triangles.

Sierra lists 38.1 gr of IMR 4064 as their accuracy load, you have a good powder to work with for that bullet. Get to work shooting, post pictures of your groups and something to compare with (like a penny) and we'll all be glad to help ya out with it. 35 gr. is a bit slow but it is a starting point.
