Thought I'd share. Not my choice for self-defense, but definitely have lots of fun with it.

P-90, nice!
I can understand the "let the bashing" statement. Not my first choice for a caliber, however a fun firearm never the less!!!!

The pictures on the otherhand are incredible!! :D

February 25, 2009, 06:36 PM
Can anyone say "mall ninja"? Just kidding;) SWEET rifle, how much did it run you?

February 25, 2009, 06:37 PM

I just picked up a PS90 last week but it's not nearly as decorated as yours! You're going to love the PS90, don't worry about what people say about the caliber, just have fun with it and I guarantee that you will;)

I don't care what anyone says the PS/P90 is one of the coolest rifles out there. I can understand why a lot of the traditionalist don't like it but personally I find them pretty damn sexy myself:D

February 25, 2009, 06:44 PM
It shoots phased energy pulses, right?

February 25, 2009, 06:46 PM
Damn! That's HOT!!!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/heart.gif :evil::D

Love it. Your pics are an art as well. Do you have any of them in higher resolution.http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

February 25, 2009, 06:46 PM
heck, I want one. although I wouldn't plaster all that stuff all over it, and especially the vertical foregrip (seems silly on a rifle that has a foregrip like the PS90's)

February 25, 2009, 06:47 PM
What's your lighting setup look like?

February 25, 2009, 06:48 PM
Why is it that i see a cartridge on the top of the gun??

February 25, 2009, 06:51 PM
That looks like a gun from Halo.

I handled one of those things, without the accessories, at a local store a few weeks ago.

I found it "interesting" but not exactly a joy to behold or to beheld.

I like the gun, it's a bit expensive aint it? 3K or 4K dollars? Plus some kind of exotic license?

That is a beautiful gun to me. Function... alot of it.

February 25, 2009, 06:53 PM
i want one of these so friggin bad...

it would be utterly useless, but fun.

Duke of Doubt
February 25, 2009, 06:53 PM
Hungry Seagull: "3K or 4K dollars?"

No, no; I forget how much they wanted, but I seem to recall it being less than half that.

February 25, 2009, 06:55 PM
theyve got one near me for like $2200

February 25, 2009, 06:55 PM
Shot with a Nikon D700 and natural sunlight beaming from a window at 5:00pm when the color is cool (blue). Thanks all.

February 25, 2009, 06:55 PM
Why is it that i see a cartridge on the top of the gun??

That's in the second mag placed on top of the carabine for quick access.

February 25, 2009, 07:03 PM
A very beautiful firearm in my opinion.

February 25, 2009, 07:12 PM

I think they're ugly as sin. BUT cool. Sort of space-cool. Phaser indeed.

I've always thought that a semi-auto .22WMR would be an excellent civilian short-range skirmish/HD weapon for the non-rambo set.

The 5.7x28 fills that role very nicely, and stimulates the economy much more to boot.

very nice
to spite the bashing on the 5.7 i am still going to get the ps90...i want one so im getting it. you have two things i am going for on mine...the acog and the quad rail.

February 25, 2009, 07:27 PM
I am glad you like your rifle. I just don't like the looks. It is like going home with the person of the opposite sex that is fat and ugly but is a lot of fun to play with, just hope your friends don't see you.

But again they are just jealous they didn't bring anything home --- like ME.

Very cool rifle.

Bashing? Are you kidding? Maybe you meant jealousy, envy, drooling?

P-90 is one of my favorites that I plan to own. I think the design is brilliant and I love what you've done with it. Might be a bit bulkier than the designers originally intended, but they also intended for it to be versatile and you've certainly shown one aspect of that versatility with your setup.

All together, very cool

If you can't say somethin nice, don't say nuthin at all...

February 25, 2009, 07:38 PM
Jealous.... and yes.... you suck....

February 25, 2009, 07:44 PM
That's the exact set up I would make if I owned one of those :D Thanks for letting me live vicariously. I hate IL and their anti-SBR laws...in fact, I hate all SBR laws in general, haha. Congrats on acquiring a very cool rifle.

February 25, 2009, 07:45 PM
very cool!

Wow! "A plasma rifle in the 40 Watt range." Very well adorned! Enjoy:D

First time I saw one of those, all I could do was Hummmm???
Hold one and fire it. You find the owner having to ask you to give it back.
And the one I saw wasn’t near as tricked out or good looking.

If you can't say somethin nice, don't say nuthin at all...

Man, I hear 'ya. I've been biting my tongue to keep from saying just that in this thread.....

...talk about bashing and out right snobbery......

And although the firearms posted in this and the other thread aren't exactly my cup-o-tea, I can see the attraction in both.

I think it's awesome, and I concur regarding your photography skills. Nice job, and have fun!

February 25, 2009, 09:41 PM
that is very nice and what most would call very Tactical

February 25, 2009, 09:43 PM
ok, i want to bash you, why? nice toy!

February 25, 2009, 10:00 PM
Great lookin' SUR (Suburban Utility Rifle)! Truly wild in a good way too!

Is it also ready for the hi-def digital TV conversion date? It looks like you can pick up a lot of TV stations on that outfit!;)

February 25, 2009, 10:34 PM
A bit different than most other rifles arent they. Looks very fun but not sure Id buy one though. I like the scope and am interested in one for my AR (for walkabout coyote hunting). But cant afford one.

Now the camera on the other hand Id really like to check out. I have a D200 and love it except its not the best for noise at higher ISO numbers. Would still like the DX sensor though as I have enough lenses I dont want to have to re-shop. And the increase in magnification is nice too. But with the bigger sensor (buckets for light) do you find you can crop and enlarge with out any degradation of quality? Feel free to PM/E-mail me on this if you wish. I dont have the funds for it right now but you never know. I also need to research it a bit on Nikonians.org. Do you go there>

February 25, 2009, 10:37 PM
got to tell ya nice job with the gun <deleted gratuitous mod taunting>

looks great

February 26, 2009, 01:52 AM
Where do you plug in the Ipod?

Seriously that spare magazine clamped on had me confused at first too.

Those are neat little rifles but the ergos and I don't get along... it just doesn't 'fit' me.

February 26, 2009, 01:59 AM
I like how the clamped spare mag acts as an elevated cheek rest to line you up with the ACOG. Is the laser center mounted on the extra rail for balance, rather than on one of the existing side rails?

February 26, 2009, 02:17 AM
And I thought my ar was decked out. Really nice though, now I want one. Is that a suppressor on it (has some interesting markings)?

February 26, 2009, 03:12 AM
Complete waste of money, but it is your money to waste. Enjoy!

You asked for the bashing.

February 26, 2009, 09:15 AM
While I love my PS90 I wouldn't quite do that with it. Mine is tri-rail and all that I have on it is simple optics. The PS90 is a fast and light weapon, and the last thing I would want to do is weight it down. I don't get the front foregrip at all. Is that can on there real? If it is, that's the only addition that you've made that I would find to be useful. I'd also take advantage of that little slit at the back bottom of the stock to add a sling attachment like this one http://dynamicarmament.com/items/ar15-accessories/slings/black-hawk-fn-ps90-sling-blkhwkfnp90sling-detail.htm, or some other sling, as you are going to need one.

On the othe hand, if that makes you happy, then I say two thumbs up :D

February 26, 2009, 11:37 AM
EY now... big difference between bashing and saying something is a waste of money my friend. If something makes you happy it is NEVER a waste of money and as I mentioned, this is a "fun" gun. It was meant to look and be that way for the art. <Snark Removed> I'm glad most enjoyed the PHOTOS though(as that was the point of the thread to begin with). Hence why the thread was never titled BEST PS90 EVER haha. Thanks all.

February 26, 2009, 12:34 PM
It looks cool, but what's the point of the vertical foregrip? The rifle already has a vertical foregrip built in.

February 26, 2009, 12:56 PM
theyve got one near me for like $2200

Dang, they sell them for 1400 around here.

I like it, it looks like fun! Definetly mall-ninja-y, but definetly cool! Not practical, but fun.

Duke of Doubt
February 26, 2009, 01:12 PM
Yeah, I checked. Impact Guns has them listed on their site for under $1,700, and I can get one for significantly less than that, NIB not far from here ... that is, if I wanted one.

That gat is sick, G.

February 26, 2009, 01:40 PM
Take off 3-4 pounds of "accessories" and you have a fun gun.

February 26, 2009, 02:52 PM
Very nice:cool:

February 26, 2009, 03:06 PM
What does "gat" mean?

February 26, 2009, 03:09 PM
Looks good. It makes me want to SBR mine so bad. I am contemplating a whole seperate reciever so I can change back and forth in 30 seconds.

They go for 1300-1400 new 2200 although I have seen them for that it is nuts.

February 27, 2009, 06:14 AM
Ok... I looked it up... gat...

February 27, 2009, 12:49 PM
