I am looking at a Spanish Destroyer carbine that's for sale. Looks like its in pretty good shape. I am trying to figure out how much they are going for. Tried looking in the blue book, but couldn't find it.

Price is a little over $300.

What are they going for now a days.

Finding 9 x 23 mm Largo ammo is a problem.
Contrary to what the above add says, it is extremely unsafe to use ammunition other than 9 x 23 mm Largo due to the dangers of excessive pressure.

I have a pretty good supply of 9mm largo for my Astra 400. I got the ammo at Sarco awhile back.

I seen the Gun America ad and was thinking they were on the high side. But was unable to find any bullpark valve in any of reference books.

It really depends on condition. I would say $250 to $350. I saw 6 pretty nice ones sell quickly this week on another forum for the $300-325 range.

Its easy to reload for, I use .38 Super/.38 Auto dies. Use 9mm Largo loading data.

I've watched quite a few go on Gunbroker over the last year and most seem to get $350 to $400.

If you can get it for $300 I'd jump.

I payed $250 for mine in good condition. It was well worth the money.

These rifles handle well, have fast actions, and are very accurate. You would have to be a very bad shot to miss with one of these rifles. Spare mags and ammo are also easy to find. Sarco had mags for under $10 and Largo ammo the last time I looked.

.

I just bought two of these carbines and am waiting for shipment.
I paid $325 each for them, both in fine to excellent condition.

This is a neat and unique rifle.

This is a good youtube on it. Wait out the music and flipping
pics -- there a good demo starting about half way through.

Starline makes 9mm Largo brass.

Ammunitiontogo.com has the best price for 9mm Largo that I've found.
