Hello Folks,

I hate to say this, but I'm starting to get a little discouraged. We have
only one student who has paid for the Ayoob/Rauch class April 5-6, and
no-one has registered for the much-less-expensive dinner to be held April 4.
The deadline of Feb 1 is approaching quickly and at that time I must decide
if we will even be holding this event. We need 23 students to break even on
this event and if we don't have that many by Feb 1 then I will regretfully
cancel the class. At this time I only have one volunteer to help me with
the phone compaign to call our supporters to remind ourselves and reach the
people who don't have e-mail (Thank you Eileen Cameron!;). I don't like
pushing people, and I don't like begging, yet here I am doing both. Please
send in your registrations right away so we can have this event and raise
money for SAS instead of merely breaking even or (ack) losing money. I know
all of you have busy lives and the poor economy has hurt many of us. Still,
I hope you will rally around the twin causes of education and support of our
second amendment. If our founding fathers pledged their fortunes to the
cause of liberty, can we at least pledge the cost of a class and/or a
dinner?

Here is the link for the event: www.2asisters.net/pa/events.htm and there
is also an on-line registration in the SAS store (the link for that is at
the bottom of the page). Thanks for your support,

In Liberty,

Well first of all the web page doesn't tell the visitors what is going to be talked about in this lecture. Also $350 for someone to blow smoke up my butt. It sounds to me like I would be paying 350 to here a reason I should pay more to attend a real class. I would pay more to attend a real class, but I sure as hell am not going to pay 350 for a sales pitch.

I know Rauch personally, used to shoot IPSC with him and have had one on one dealings with Ayoob and persoanlly, I wouldn't pay $3.50 to listen to either one much less $350!

Just my persoanl feelings however...;)

Walt Rauch, the writer, what is he going to talk about? Geriatric double taps from a walker?

Oh, well. If you don't think you can learn anything, you probably won't.

I agree that the SAS dropped the ball by not publishing a talk abstract.

For those who were wondering:Hi!
I'm so glad you asked! (I'm terribly sorry I didn't
respond sooner - it's been a zoo here). The class is
on the topic of Women's Personal Protection. Both men
have told me that they have a lot of information that
women need. Mas says that he'd have to add a day to
his LFI-1 class to cover all this. Both men have
assured me that men and law enforcement officers will
find this class valuable too. I caught a few hours of
one of Mas's classes myself once and I am positively
drooling to take the rest - he covers things that I
didn't even know I needed to know! Not just how to
defend yourself, but how to manage your witnesses and
the police that show up afterwards - among many other
things. I filled pages and pages of notes from the
four hours I sat in on - and I was trying to write only
the most important things down. I hope this
description helps - I'm getting an official description
from Mas and Walt to put up on the website soon.
Please ask again if I've failed to answer
suffiiently! Thanks so much - I look forward to
seeing you. Perhaps you can make it to the dinner if
you can't do the class? Talk to you soon,
-Penni

Per grnzbra at NJCSD, they've got seven registrants. It's marginal, but SAS might go ahead and give it.

Now's your chance... and at half the price of LFI 1.
